With photo: Hans Hansen, the MK&G in Hamburg is dedicating an extensive exhibition to the work of a formative photographer of the post-war period. On display are works from more than six decades, supplemented by publications, sketches and archival material that make his precise view of objects, design and pictorial order comprehensible. The focus is on Hans Hansen’s reduced, clearly composed visual language, which is particularly visible in product and still life photographs. The exhibition runs from 17 April to 1 November 2026 at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg at Steintorplatz.
