The permanent exhibition situates the fully preserved cloth factory within the textile, social and urban history of Crimmitschau. Across around 400 square metres, it explores textile raw materials and production techniques, GDR fashion and clothing manufacture, the textile workers’ strike of 1903/04 and Saxony’s textile industry today; films, audio features and hands-on stations complement the exhibits.

Montag bis Mittwoch geschlossen. Letzter Einlass 30 Minuten vor Schließung
am 24., 25. und 31. Dezember sowie am 1. Januar geschlossen.

Regulärer Museumseintritt: Erwachsene 6 €, ermäßigt 4 €, Kinder unter 6 Jahren und weitere Berechtigte frei
Familienkarte ohne Führung 14 €. Führungen kosten zusätzlich.
