In the Kunstmuseum Bayreuth, Max Beckmann and Armand Besch meet two different artistic positions. The exhibition focuses on the interrelationship between drawing and photography and places it in the context of classical modernism. Under the title Eyewitnesses with pen and camera, the show will take place from March 1 to October 4, 2026 at Maximilianstraße 33. The focus is on seeing, capturing and interpreting reality in two media that interrogate each other here.
