Access data
When this website is accessed, the web server may process technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and requested files. This data is used for the stable and secure operation of the website.
Seenly may also derive aggregated reach statistics from server-side request and interaction records, for example pageviews, referrers, campaign landings, and approximate unique visitors. This happens without analytics cookies. Raw IP addresses are not published in reports; unique counts are derived only internally from hashed technical request signals.
In addition, Seenly may count selected first-party interaction events in aggregated form, for example clicks on internal discovery links, route actions, nearby food links, or nearby exhibition recommendations. These measurements are limited to product usage analysis, are stored without analytics cookies, and use only hashed technical request signals for rough unique-user estimation.
Exhibition data and external sources
Seenly processes publicly available information from organizers and exhibition venues, for example titles, date ranges, venues, opening hours, admission prices, source links, and coordinates. Personal data is processed only to the extent that it appears in publicly available sources as part of the event information.
Contact form and contact requests
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the information you submit will be processed to handle your request. The contact form stores your name, email address, message, timestamp, and a shortened technical abuse-protection signal. This data is not shared with third parties without your consent.
Maps, routes, and food suggestions
Seenly links to external services such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Deutsche Bahn, and Booking.com. Personal data is transferred to these providers only when you open the respective external link. In the exhibition overview, map material from OpenStreetMap is embedded via Leaflet. On detail pages, nearby food suggestions may be requested through the Overpass API.
Cookies, consent, and Google Analytics
Seenly stores your choice for statistics cookies in your browser's local storage. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
If you consent, we embed Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics helps us understand which pages are visited and how Seenly is used. Usage data, technical information, shortened IP addresses, and cookie identifiers may be processed. Google may also transfer data to servers of Google LLC in the United States. The legal basis is your consent; you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
Provider login areas use a necessary session cookie so authenticated users can stay signed in. Necessary storage is used only to provide requested functionality and not to build advertising or analytics profiles.
Legal bases
The processing of technical access data, aggregated server-side reach measurement, aggregated first-party interaction counts, necessary functional storage, contact requests, and publicly available exhibition information is based on legitimate interests in secure operation, cookie-free audience evaluation without advertising profiles, responding to requests, and providing a curated information service. Google Analytics is used only on the basis of your consent.
Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Contact requests are deleted when they are no longer needed for processing.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
