The new display combines works from the Staatsgalerie with selected loans and broadens the collection of 20th- and 21st-century art to include works by women and a range of global perspectives. Painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, video and installations address subjects including ecological crises, war and violence, identity, the body and social coexistence, placing contemporary art in dialogue with works from the 20th century.
