The special exhibition “135 Years of the Isartal Railway” in the Wallner‑Bockhorni Cabinet at the Museum Wolfratshausen, presented by the newly founded Freundeskreis Isartalbahn e.V., runs from 28 June to 28 August 2026. It explores the history of the Munich–Bichl railway line and its formative role for the Isar valley, as well as the development of numerous towns along the route. On display are historical documents, photographs, timetables and memorabilia assembled by committed researchers. Museum Wolfratshausen (Untermarkt 10, 82515 Wolfratshausen) is open during the exhibition as follows: Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat 10:00–16:00, Thu 10:00–17:00 and Sun 14:00–17:00.
