The summer exhibition „…und plötzlich ist es Sommer“ by Johanna Schwarz presents a new body of work in which traditional floral motifs from art history are translated into abstract, freely interpreted paintings on canvas. The show is complemented by the photo series “In Gedenken an”, which re-stages works by deceased artists in a contemporary context. The exhibition is presented at the Kunstpavillon Aurich (Am Ellernfeld 8); opening hours during exhibitions are Friday to Sunday, 15:00–18:00.
