In Mannheim, the space for photography ZEPHYR of the Reiss-Engelhorn museums shows works by Margaret Courtney-Clarke from 15 November 2025. The exhibition Geographies of Drought introduces a photographic examination of the consequences of extreme drought in Namibia and combines documentary precision with an often haunting visual language. The focus is on social inequality, lack of water and everyday life in one of the driest countries on earth. Courtney-Clarke also shows how women are affected by adaptation and resilience in these living conditions. Until July 5, 2026, the show unfolds a picture of this reality that is as precise as it is sensitive.
