In the Maritime Museum of Rostock, a photographic special exhibition with workers of the sea is on display, which focuses on maritime working environments. More than 100 photographs by Rolf Nobel portray people in occupations on and off the sea are on display. The pictures take you to different coastal and port regions and paint a complex picture of everyday life, tradition and change. Between hard work, technical environment and close connection to the sea, a concentrated view of activities that have remained influential for many coastal areas emerges.
