In Light, as a feather, Berni Searle shows two work complexes from 2001 and 2025. The exhibition at the Berlin gallery PSM focuses on the body as an image, presence and sometimes also absence. Searle combines photography, video, performance and installation to investigate self-image, belonging and the traces of history. The focus is on memories and stories linked to places and social experiences. Searle works with references to the port city of Cape Town and with stories that continue to have an impact on families and communities. The gallery exhibition runs from May 1 to June 20, 2026 at Schöneberger Ufer 61 in Berlin.
