The CRONE gallery in Berlin will show the exhibition Franz West & Bruno Gironcoli Logical Disorder from 1 May to 20 June 2026. For the first time, the works of the two Austrian sculptors and object artists will be placed in a direct connection. Both have shaped art since the late 20th century with their independent design language and were only perceived more broadly after a long position as outsiders. On the one hand, the show reveals common interests in the whimsical and bizarre, on the other hand, the clear differences in their artistic attitude. Between West and Gironcoli, a dialogue emerges that points to the close connection between teacher, pupil and later opponent.
