The exhibition “Unter die Haut” by Thalea Sophie Fix runs from 10 August to 17 September 2026 at Rathaus Öhringen (stairwell, Marktplatz 15) and can be visited during the town hall opening hours (Mon–Wed 8:15–16:15, Thu 8:15–18:00, Fri 8:15–12:15). Thalea Sophie Fix places the human body, the depiction of skin and portraiture at the centre of her painting practice, combining figurative techniques with influences from street art and everyday observation. Her works question prevailing beauty ideals and demonstrate that true beauty lies in individuality, lived experience and perceived flaws. The exhibition aims to encourage visitors to reconsider their relationship to their own bodies. Admission is free.
