In the Museum of Object-Free Art in Otterndorf, Chris Dorland's Chrome Shelter exhibition will be on view from 28 June 2026. The show marks his first institutional solo exhibition in Europe, combining painting, digital image production and installation into a multi-layered course. Based on scans, compression and algorithmic disturbances, spaces are created between the material surface and technical fragility. Work groups such as Alumacores and Screenscrapes as well as a new video work make the exhibition space itself part of the artistic work.
