In the Museum Neues Weimar, the exhibition Bauhaus and Politics presents an art-historical perspective on the political dimension of the avant-garde school. The focus is on the years 1919 to 1933, in which the Bauhaus not only shaped forms of modernism, but also acted as a place for social designs and debates. The presentation in Weimar asks about the relationship between freedom, design and the political system. It can be seen from 17 May 2025 to 4 January 2027 at Museum Neues Weimar, Jorge-Semprún-Platz 5.
