Curated by Beral Madra, the exhibition RE CLAIM brings together drawings by Christina Calbari and installations by Şakir Gökçebağ. Calbari’s figures evade fixed attributions of gender and identity; Gökçebağ removes everyday objects from their functional context and rearranges them into poetic visual structures. The presentation thus explores transformation, social conceptions of roles, and the aesthetic charge of the ordinary.
