The cabinet exhibition at the Übersee-Museum Bremen tells the story of colonial looting in Tibati, in what was then Cameroon, and traces how the reappraisal of the collection looted in 1899 gave rise to present-day contacts between Tibati, Bremen and the museum. It links the provenance history of the objects that arrived in Bremen in 1902 with questions of restitution, partnership and current cooperative projects such as the sustainable beekeeping project in Tibati.
