Wohin mit dem Hund? dazwischen 4.0 examines relationships between people and animals—in life, in death and in remembrance. The exhibition asks about farewell, pet burial and the consequences of a person’s death for their animal companions. Interviews and exhibits also lead visitors to places of dying; on view are photographs from Sibylle Fendt’s project Bevor es soweit ist, which accompanies people who wish to die at home. Dioramas and artistic contributions additionally address the desire to defy death through lifestyle products and invite visitors to contribute their own responses.
