In the two-storey installation “Green Fence,” Georg Lutz examines the representability of the mass murder of predominantly Jewish people. The work takes as its point of departure the former Sobibor extermination camp and a perpetrator photograph from the Niemann Album; the walk-in installation, made of fir branches, wooden posts, barbed wire and sand, makes mechanisms of camouflage, violence and visibility tangible.
