The Bunker Valentin Memorial opens up the ruins of a submarine shipyard planned during the Second World War as a memorial and place of learning. A route leads through the bunker and the outdoor grounds in 25 stations; in the information centre, an exhibition explores the site’s history in greater depth through objects, photographs and short texts about the construction and post-war periods. Since 9 November 2025, six new media stations and a digital memorial book have supplemented the in-depth exhibition, enabling further research on forced labourers, eyewitnesses, camps, places and historical contexts.
