The special exhibition presents festive fashion and textile treasures spanning more than 100 years. Its focus is on elegant wedding and evening gowns from the Golden Twenties to the dazzling fashions of the 1980s, as well as on the question of why people dress up for special occasions and which dress codes applied in the past and still apply today.
