The Städtische Museum Schloss Salder is continuing its self-curated exhibition section on refugees and displaced persons in Salzgitter. The exhibition is titled “Ankunft im Ungewissen: Flüchtlinge und Vertriebene in Salzgitter 1945-1950.” It displays objects that people brought with them from their former homeland. The museum thus contextualizes their arrival in the young city.
