To mark the 300th birthday of Daniel Nikolaus Chodowiecki, the German Huguenot Museum is expanding its permanent exhibition on the artist. The newly acquired oil painting “Tolerance” is at its centre; also on display are, among other works, a female nude dating from around 1750, an ink drawing depicting a group playing shuttlecock, a watercolour by Suzette Chodowiecki, and further prints from the family circle.
