In this special presentation, students in an 11th-grade class at the Thomas Mann Gymnasium examine the expectations and social rules that shaped the search for a partner in the 19th century and how they relate to contemporary ideas of love, friendship and relationships. The starting point is a portrait album left behind by Ottilie von Graefe, featuring drawings of young women; the results and perspectives of the junior curators are presented in the special display area on the first upper floor.
