The exhibition traces the history of the postal bicycle from its first use in the late 19th century to today’s electric and cargo bikes. Historic bicycles, uniforms, delivery bags, documents and photographs shed light on everyday postal work, technological development, women’s emancipation and sustainable mobility; a hands-on station conveys the daily work of postal delivery staff.
