CategoryMore art
Three artists explore how the aspiration to a free artistic life can be reconciled with the conditions of a non-ideal reality. Horst Weber’s abstracted wooden sculptures combine creative freedom with social engagement; Richard Géczi’s works respond to current developments with political critique and a punk attitude; while Christian Greifendorf works between classical painting, conceptual art, and the material reuse of earlier works. Together, these artistic positions examine the conditions of art production and the stance of artists towards the world.
