The exhibition focuses on rivers such as the Nidda, the Rhine and the Atrato as living ecological, political and cultural agents. Artworks address the relationships between people and rivers, their use and protection, and the question of what changes when rivers are granted their own rights to unimpeded flow, cleanliness and regeneration.
