This collection display examines the close connection between the holdings, the history of the Deutsches Goldschmiedehaus and the Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst. Jewellery and vessels, primarily from Germany since 1950 and complemented by international positions, illustrate the shift from a conventional understanding of jewellery towards an artistically investigative practice and present the collection as a continuously growing cultural memory.
