On the occasion of Georg II’s 200th birthday, the Meininger Museums are dedicating a major special exhibition to the duke and theatre reformer. Paintings, drawings, photographs, historical documents, costumes and personal objects illustrate his life, his European connections and his formative influence on art, music and the Meiningen Court Theatre.
