The photographer Gisela Schäper, from Drensteinfurt, explores hidden corners of old castles and fortresses, transforming the objects she finds there into atmospheric still lifes with a keen sense of light, colour and symbolism. In the main castle, her original prints enter into dialogue with the historic rooms, while large-format reproductions throughout the building invite visitors on a photographic journey of discovery.
