CategoryMore art
The Poppenspäler Museum presents theatrical figures relating to the biblical story of Noah, including an ark designed as a shadow theatre, numerous animal figures, and table puppets depicting Noah and his family. Supplementary works by Richard Haizmann and Otto Beckmann open up perspectives on the flood, primal human fears, and the rainbow as a sign of hope; the exhibition is explicitly designed to be family-friendly.
