Redesigned in 2024, the castle section presents the history of Wertheim Castle and the former county, from its origins to its development into a ruin. A touch table, a castle quiz, historical views of the town, archaeological finds and models of Wertheim Castle, Henneburg and Freudenberg Castle make these connections vivid; a tournament hall is aimed especially at children.
