To mark the museum’s centenary, the special exhibition commemorates Hans Kretschmann, who, as a painter, restorer, curator and museum director, played a decisive role in shaping the institution’s development. Loans featuring views of Mühlberg harbour and its churches, as well as landscape and floral paintings, illustrate his close connection to the town and the region.
