The exhibition traces the history of photography in the Altmark from the 19th century onwards, focusing on the people both in front of and behind the camera. It presents images from Salzwedel and the western Altmark, including photographs by the Oberst family of photographers, as well as holdings from the Danneil Museum and newly explored collections from the Diesdorf Open-Air Museum.
