In the Städtische Galerie Villingen-Schwenningen, contemporary art is based on the idea of reduction. The exhibition brings together collections that meet in their formal rigor: minimal settings, clear structures and serial work are related. This creates readings that make art-historical connections visible and sharpen the view of different aesthetic positions.
