At the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf, the exhibition Jazz: Düsseldorf/Palermo focuses on a musical connection between the Rhine and the Mediterranean. The occasion is the tenth anniversary of the town twinning between Düsseldorf and Palermo. It shows how jazz history is reflected in different artistic forms in both cities. Painting, graphics, photography, musical instruments and video and audio works open up different approaches to the cultural history of jazz. The show can be seen in Düsseldorf from 10 February to 9 August 2026.
