With Karen Dolev: Mir ist zu Licht zur Schlafen, a new exhibition space opens in Cologne: BAUMHAUS / CAP Cologne. On display is a new series of works on paper that use soft pastel to explore the relationship between color, light and perception. The title refers to a shift between external environment and internal state. The starting point of the exhibition is German romanticism, whose colour spaces are transferred into a contemporary visual language. Created during a stay in Cologne, the works react to the local atmosphere and combine observation of the landscape with psychological condensation. The exhibition can be seen from 28 May to 12 July 2026.
