With "NOVAESIUM", the Roman collection of the Clemens Sels Museum returns to the exhibition rooms after the renovation. The presentation tells of the oldest Roman military site on the Lower Rhine and makes the ancient legion camp experienceable through archaeological finds, pictures of life and vivid mediation. More than 500 finds lead to everyday life, military life and material culture of the Roman garrison. The permanent exhibition combines regional history with a time journey into antiquity and anchors Neuss as an important place on the Lower Germanic Limes.
