The exhibition “Building Community. Göbeklitepe, Taş Tepeler and Life 12,000 Years Ago” at the James Simon Gallery in Berlin focuses on an early phase of human communities. The focus is on testimonies from a time when social order, joint action and built spaces regrouped. Between February 6 and July 19, 2026, the presentation opens up a cultural-historical access to the sites around Göbeklitepe and Taş Tepeler. It connects archaeological perspectives with how community expressed and materialized in the early Neolithic period.
