Giulia Andreani shows a new group of works of figurative, monochrome paintings at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart in Berlin. The starting point is photographs, family albums and archives, from which she develops images that interrogate official historical images and make forgotten perspectives visible. The exhibition is part of the anniversary programme for the 30th anniversary of the house and runs from 27 February to 13 September 2026 at Invalidenstraße 50/51. Andreani’s first institutional solo exhibition in Germany combines contemporary art with historical references to the collection and expands the view of memory, power and tradition.
