From 19 May 2026, the LWL Museum for Art and Culture in Münster will be showing two large-format works by Gerhard Richter from the Soest district’s collection. The permanent loans, dash (on blue) and dash (on red), will thus enter the collection presentation of the house at Domplatz 10. The paintings, which were created around 1979 and 1980, characterise the space in a special way due to their length and reduced visual language. After many years in a school building, they are now given a new, conservatory-protected environment in the museum.
