The exhibition Collection in Motion at the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld places new acquisitions and holdings in a dialogical context. The focus is on the design of use and perception: from Wilhelm Wagenfeld's clear formal language to Adolf Luther and early works with the moving image. The show shows how collections can change and historical lines can be re-read. It combines design, light and video art to give an overview of different artistic attitudes in the 20th century.
