Starting on April 30, 2026, the Kunstmuseum Bonn will show Hito Steyerl's media art installation Animal Spirits. The work belongs to the ZOOM IN series and uses an entire space to combine projections, sound and sculptural elements into a dense visual world. The film in the center links different forms between documentary, animation and reality aesthetics. Steyerl combines questions about technology, economy and contemporary culture with motifs from nature and wildlife. The exhibition runs until 31 December 2027 at Helmut-Kohl-Allee 2.
