In the historic Gothic hall of Martinsschloss, the Carnival Museum documents the history and traditions of Lahnstein Carnival. On display are numerous medals, costumes, jester hats, uniforms, sceptres, photographs, texts and other memorabilia; supplementary objects from other carnival strongholds and annually changing exhibits from the association’s archive expand the approximately 70-square-metre collection.
