Ruti De Vries’ exhibition Pocket Lines can be seen from 12 June to 9 August 2026 at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. The focus is on an artistic practice that entangles movement, rhythm and collective production. The title already refers to working in small, condensed formats in which image, material and body react to each other. Based on an animated video, a space unfolds between the web structure, the figure and the surface. Monochrome shapes, lines and textile patterns interlock and make production visible as an open process. The exhibition thus combines formal precision with a reflection on how images are created and change in the interaction of elements.
