The exhibition at the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg focuses on 200 years of city history as a history of arrival. The starting point is the move of Duke Frederick I and his family in 1826; from there a wide arc unfolds to the present day. The focus is on travel, new beginnings and the experiences of those who found a new home in Altenburg. Historical perspectives are combined with current voices, complemented by an education and placement program. The art show from 23 June to 27 September 2026 can be seen.
