“Hans Theo Richter: Zeichnung und Graphik” focuses on Hans Theo Richter within an exhibition programme in which drawing and graphic art are central because of their importance in Dresden. Richter was initially a pupil of Otto Dix and became a professor at the HfBK Dresden in 1947. The Leonhardi Museum context also includes successors to his professorship, Gerhard Kettner, Elke Hopfe and Wolfram Adalbert Scheffler, as well as important Richter pupils including Max Uhlig and Dieter Goltzsche. Supported by the Hildegard and Hans Theo Richter Foundation, the exhibition is dedicated to the draughtsman and printmaker after an earlier museum presentation of Hans Theo Richter Prize winners. It runs from 3 July to 4 October 2026 at the Leonhardi Museum Dresden, Grundstraße 26.
