4#4#Białystok brings together photographic works at Galerie nEUROPA by Jürgen Matschie, Jan Oelker, Matthias Schumann, and Piotr Niedźwiedź. Its shared point of departure is the eastern Polish city of Białystok, framed by its border location, historical ruptures, and cultural overlaps. The photographs approach urban life through four perspectives, showing traces of Jewish history, graffiti and street art, as well as housing estates, squares, and peripheral areas. The exhibition also addresses current social conflicts, including an LGBT demonstration that the German photographers witnessed by chance. It runs from 5 June 2026 to 30 August 2026 at Galerie nEUROPA, Bautzner Straße 49, 01099 Dresden.
