The travelling exhibition Messing – Reforms and Designs from Art Nouveau to Objectivity shows the material as a medium between design and use. In the Stadtmuseum Hattingen, an arc from the forms of Art Nouveau to factual modernism is visible, which traces the change in style, function and surface. The exhibition will be on view from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027 at Marktplatz 1-3 in Hattingen.
