In the Diocesan Museum Freising, James Turrell's A CHAPEL FOR LUKE and his scribe Lucius the Cyrene is a permanent light installation. Since October 1, 2022, it has been part of the exhibition offering of the Haus am Domberg and shapes the place with a reduced presence focused on perception and space. The work of the American artist combines light, architecture and silence into an experience that unfolds in walking and lingering. At the Museum at Domberg 21 in Freising, she enters into a dialogue with the sacred environment and opens up a contemplative approach to light art.
