The special exhibition “Simorgh. Konferenz der Vögel” presents works by the Iranian-born artist Mohammad Ajalloueian and draws on Persian poetry, in particular the 12th-century tale “The Conference of the Birds”. Ajalloueian links the mythical Simorgh symbolism with personal fragments reflecting migration, loss and new beginnings. The show runs from 21 July to 28 August 2026 at the Arenbergische Rentei (Obergerichtsstraße 14) and is open Tue–Fri 14:00–17:00. Admission is free.
